Valerie Manor Celebrates 354 Combined Years of Service Within Nursing Department
TORRINGTON, C.T. — May 6 through May 12 celebrates National Nurses Week! Valerie Manor holds a combined years of service of 354 years among its licensed nursing staff.

Valerie Manor, located in Torrington, is a 151-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation therapy, long-term care, respite, and hospice services. Daily recreational programming, nutritious meals, and housekeeping provide social and emotional wellness while taking away the stressors of daily life. This year, Athena Health Care Systems, the management company of Valerie Manor, is notably celebrating 40 years of nursing home management.
This week, during National Nurses Week, we extend our gratitude to our extraordinary nurses who selflessly care for others providing essential care when it is needed the most. We are proud to celebrate a collective 354 years of service within our nursing team!
